Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model, author, designer as well as an animal rights activist. The actress is famous for films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to explore a career in the art. She began as a photo assistant and then moved on to modeling and acting. In her first two films her name was acknowledged and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most promising young actress. MacGraw became a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three years, MacGraw was ranked as the number one female box-office participant in the entire world. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she was able to have her handprints and signature engraved. Alongside The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television miniseries The Winds of War. Moving Pictures is her autobiography, published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
