Zoe-perry

Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as shown in flashback), her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's initial TV roles. However, her parents did not permit her to perform until she was an adult, for fear of the negative effects that stress could have on their daughter. Perry states that she did not want to perform in high school, but she decided to begin acting as a social activity while at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Following her graduation, Perry moved to New York to search for television work landing small roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent but homesickness brought Perry back home to California where she found acting jobs. The Other Place was performed by her mother and her in 2013 on Broadway in 2013 In the year 2015, she was with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, she starred in her own recurring part on her own ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. The same year the actress was selected to play a young model of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen version of her mother's character. The character was chosen by auditions, even though she had a close relationship with the show.
