Ina Garten, an American writer of cookery cookbooks and Emmy Award-winning host of the Food Network's most popular program, Barefoot Contessa that debuted in 2002 has 27 seasons until 2020. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents as well as the budget. Though she initially found it fascinating, eventually she became bored. Then she bought a Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. Her store was extremely successful over the course of 18 years until she decided to let it go. After that, she started the first book. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. Meanwhile the Food Network show was also a success. Additionally, she sells items that range from food items to storage containers and tools. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself that hasn't gone to a cooking academy and has never worked in the kitchen. Her name is associated with her casual style of cooking and entertaining. The most well-known recipes she has created are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
