Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage performance in the 1950s. Following that, she performed on Broadway for a number of productions until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it famous at the National Theatre. In 1957, she also launched her first album of music called It's time for Tina. Louise debuted in Hollywood in God's Little Acre which was a dramatic released in 1958. She performed the role of Griselda, a character in the movie. As students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She was signed by CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise had a successful career in Hollywood as well as Broadway, playing somber characters in order to dispel her image as a the glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 as Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. In recent times, she was also a prominent director for popular TV programs like Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born in Essex on August 28th 1965. She and her family moved to Toronto at the age of three where she subsequently spent her childhood and adolescence. When she was chosen to play the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and is a resident of Vancouver ever for the last ten years.
