Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid is of Chinese origin and grew up during the war in Vietnam. The father of her Winston Barrett Munn is from an American family which has strong roots in the South of America. Olivia was only 2 when her parents divorced. Her family consisted of her stepfather and mother, both of whom who was a United States Air Force member. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around often. In that period, she participated in many shows in the area and eventually became a Japanese Fashion Model. Olivia moved from Japan to Los Angeles when her family had returned to America. United States to follow her aspirations of becoming an actress. She started her acting career with a small role. Her career then gained momentum when she was cast as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's receptionist. She hosts the podcasts "Formula D", "The Daily Nut", and "The Daily Nut". Her passion for surfing has been a constant following the television show Beyond the Break. Additionally, she has earned an black belt in Taekwondo. The year 2000 was at the age of two, of age, her mother got married. Despite the fact that the family moved around a often, the mother of her child was raised in Tokyo in Japan, where she stayed in the military. In the University of Oklahoma is where she studied journalism with minors in Japanese, drama and dramatic arts.
