Lars Mikkelsen3-765x1024At age 27, he entered the National Theatre School of Denmark and was graduated in the year 1995. Apart from his performance in the drama series "The Killing, he also appeared in Borgen III, a Danish drama series. He also played a lead role in an episode of the BBC drama Sherlock as a blackmailer Charles Augustus Magnussen. In the American television series House of Cards, he was the role of the president of Russia.
